Quality Management Plan – 10th Anniversary Virtual Celebration

This artifact highlights the process to create a quality management plan for a virtual corporate event of large magnitude, including the development of processes that include quality standards; risk mitigation techniques; and methods for coordinating the project as it is developed. I used the quality assurance models that have been employed by companies such as Toyota and Apple and have applied the principles of Air Force style accountability to develop an organized and dependable event plan. My experience developing this project has allowed me to develop my ability to manage a complex task; develop a plan for mitigating risk; and establish viability for consistent performance by implementing strategies through the multiple phases of the project. I learned more about quality control; managing stakeholder expectations; and communicating with others as I led the development of a multi-step project. This artifact has allowed me to demonstrate my advancement in terms of skills related to strategically planning; increased technological awareness; and increased organization in my professional field. These are necessary skills for both government and contracting industries in project management.
