The purpose of this document was to analyze how the technical aspects of project management and the human aspects of leading a team work together to create a successful project. I identified that emotional intelligence, communication, and ethical decision-making play an important role in how a project results; these areas may even supersede schedule and measure when considering project results. Through the work on this document, I began to understand the concept of leadership on a larger scale than just directing efforts, but directing team members' Morale and Trust in each other. I grew from gathering my thoughts and recording them so that I could communicate effectively with my Team Members; very often I will not have all of the answers, but I can still positively influence my team by listening and using empathy. Based on the development I have completed on this document, I now see myself as an example of a project manager that will maintain Professionalism and Integrity and remain Accountable. As I set my sights on opportunities that include Government and Military Contracting, I understand that these attributes are crucial to my success as a project manager.
