Project Planning in Military Maintenance Operations

This artifact analyzes the application of Project Planning and Management Principles within the maintenance operations of the U.S. Air Force. This project provided me with the opportunity to use real-life examples I have encountered while performing Military Aviation Maintenance, in conjunction with concepts learned such as Scheduling, Resource Allocation, and Risk Assessment. By doing this project, it became apparent to me that structured planning will directly influence mission readiness, team coordination, and operational success. I have also developed the capability to think critically under pressure, organize tasks efficiently, and make informed decisions based on outcome evaluation prior to execution. In addition, this artifact demonstrates my development of knowledge that Management Theory can be applied to Operations Management, providing me with the confidence to be a Project Manager in Government and Contracting environments.
